How to Installing Thai Fonts And Language On BlackBerry- Some BlackBerry users have many requests to us on how to install Thai language and the fonts. Okay, basically installing new fonts is simple. Especially Thai, you need to download Thai font in cod file first.
Here the steps in installing Thai Language Fonts to blackberry step by step:
- Download JL_Cmder by googling for it
- Extract the file and in the extracted folder, look for JavaLoader.exe and copy it into c:
- Download net_rim_font_thai.cod (again you should be able to find this by googling for it. I’m sorry but my post count is not high enough to post links here.) and save this file same place as JavaLoader.exe from step #2. This is the file that will load into your BB phone when we execute step #4 and is the file which allows you to read Thai (not sure if you can type Thai though)
- Connect your phone via USB to your computer, and then go to Start->Run-> type “. Then in the dos window, type in cd c: to change the dos directory to the c drive, then key in JavaLoader -usb load net_rim_font_thai.cod (note space infront of dash, not case sensitive)
You should see some kind of file loading being executed and once it is done, your phone will restart and viola, it will be able to display Thai (you wld not be able to select Thai in the language options but it will display Thai properly)
